The goal of the game is to eliminate all other players !
Round 1
In Round 1, 5 - 10 (picture) questions are used to find the smartest and fastest player in the audience. An Audience that can consist of max. 500 players.
The participant that has the highest number of answers correct, in the shortest accumulated time will be the "Podium Player"
The 99 following the number 1 in answers correct and accumulative time will be our Tablet players
Th other audience members, of course, will play their part in the Final Round and can still win a nice consellation price.
The Final
In the Final it is the Podium Player versus the 99 tablet players. Each tablet player can select their own preferred language (out of a selection of 8 languages, but we can support up to 12 languages) and play the questions in their mother tongue.
The Podium player has ONE extra life, and can win extra lives during the first level. The Podium Player also has a choice of 4 "Helps" of which only 3 can be used.
The Top level consists of 5 questions on a category, chosen (from 3 options) by the Podium Player. If the Podium Player can eliminate all 99 tablet players within these 5 questions, without the use of a Help and without giving a wrong answer, the Top prize is won.
If a Help is used or an answer was wrong by the Podium Player, the Category advantage is gone and we drop a level in the prizes.
During the top prize level, the Podium Player is asked to guess the percentage of the Tablet players with the correct answer. If that percentage is accurate (with a margin of 1 percentile up or down) the Podium Player can win an extra life.
The goal is to eliminate all 99 Tablet players. Once there are no tablet players left, the Podium Player wins. The winnings are whatever the level shows that prize is.
If there are no levels left, the Podium Player loses. If the Podium Player gives a wrong answer and has no "Lives" left, the Tablet players win. The Tablet Players do NOT get the prize belonging to that level, but will receive a small token of appreciation. (a consolation prize)
The Tablet Players always have to answer first. The Podium Player then decides to give an answer or use a Help. There is no timer for the Podium Player.
The 4 possible helps:
- Audience poll (using the voting devices from round 1)
- Try Twice (if the first answer is wrong, try again)
- Up your chances (eliminate 2 wrong answers)
- Organization Help (someone with authority comes on stage and helps)
Extra Life (lives)
The Podium Player starts with ONE extra life. If an answer is wrong.... that life is forfeited to stay in the game. The Podium Player can win up to 2 extra lives (making the total 3) only while playing the top level.
